ECHO SERIES

2023

Sound propagation is the transmission of sound waves through various mediums, such as air and water. This process is influenced by factors like temperature gradients, wind, and turbulence, which can alter the speed and direction of the waves. Additionally, the presence of objects and walls—and their material composition—can muffle or even cancel these waves.

It’s fascinating how we capture these vibrations, translate them into meaningful information in our brains, and how our subconscious, mood, and environment influence this interpretation.

The Echo series explores these dynamics, inviting reflection on how sound shapes our perceptions and connects us to the spaces we inhabit.
